I had a pleasure speaking at the Sandusky County Candidate Forum last night. I would like to thank Vanguard-Sentinel Career and Technology Center and the Sandusky County Chamber of Commerce for hosting and sponsoring this event.

Did you know? Tiffin and Fostoria had an abundance of natural gas that allowed them the opportunity to blow glass. Don't miss out on Tiffin's History, stop in at the Tiffin Glass Museum like I was able to for their ribbon cutting yesterday. (25 South Washington Street)

It was beautiful day to celebrate our independence! I spent my morning in Fremont for their Fourth of July Parade and then I spoke at a rally afterwards

Barb Spitler and I are co-chairs of the Ritz Theatre capital campaign, Arts Alive! We attended the mayor's proclamation on April 9 at the Ritz.

 

  

 Stopped by the 5k color run for Pontifex in Fremont on Saturday, April 5th.

   

Mark Levans opened The Paper Store last week, another great downtown business in Tiffin.

 

 

Two lambs two hours apart with the youngest an hour old from a farm near Green Springs.

 

 

Attended a "positive people" presentation in Fremont this week with guest speaker Mike Herbert on having personal passion and personal influence on the lives we touch and the things we do.

 

 

 Back into the woods to see how maple syrup is made. Great pancakes and sausage from the Snavely's Sugar Shack in Republic, Ohio.

Job creation cannot be stressed enough as they are what keeps our economy rolling. We need to work on helping our current employers retain jobs and grow.
